 Traditonal Wedding Venue Wolverhampton

Our wedding venue in Wolverhampton, Grand Station, has 2 beautiful halls to hire for your wedding day, our Brunel for smaller parties and our Grand Hall for the larger numbers. Both halls have its own entrance, bar, kitchen & toilet facilities. Depending on your event we have 2 options to offer. Evening reception only or Civil & reception (full day hire). There are 3 packages to choose from at our wedding venue in Wolverhampton once you know the type of event you would like to have: Gold, Diamond & Platinum.

Evening Reception - All packs in the Brunel Suite are based on 60 guests for any additional guests there is an extra charge per person. The room hire’s from 6pm till midnight. Gold package is a base pack with room to upgrade if you would like. This package includes a simple reception buffet for a lavish wedding.

Wedding Brunel Suite – All packs in the Brunel Suite are based on 40-day guests & 80 evening guests, this option includes a complimentary Civil Ceremony which can take place in our elegant Old Ticketing Hall (OTH), the civil ceremony in the OTH is only available to be held on Monday – Thursday, you can choose between time slots from 9am – 3pm. To have a civil on the weekend you can hold your civil in the Brunel Suite and get it set up for the reception after, this is available upon request. The room hire is for the reception is from 2pm till midnight. A sit-down meal & evening buffet is included in all packs, the gold pack having a 2-course meal included.

Grand Hall

Evening Reception – All pack are based on 150 guests to increase numbers there is an additional charge per person & the room hire’s from 6pm till midnight. The Gold package is the base pack with room for upgrade if you want. Waiter service is included with all packs along with, buffet, projector, lighting, cake table & cake stand. 

Wedding Grand Hall – All packs are based on 80-day guests & 150 evening guests, to increase numbers there is an additional charge per person. This option includes a complimentary Civil Ceremony which can take place in our elegant Old Ticketing Hall, your entrance. For the Civil & Reception in the Grand Hall weekend rates are available. The Bride & Groom suites is available for use choosing the civil & reception option. Our Gold package for civil & reception has a 2 course sit-down meal, evening buffet & more included. 

  • Five Item Buffet – This food service is included in most packages. There are 3 options on this section (main, sides, dessert) you must select 5 items from the entire section. You can only select one of the items with a star next to it (*), if you select two it is an additional cost.

    Sit Down Meal 2 Course – This food service is included in our Civil & Reception option. You must choose which two courses will be served (Starter, Main, Dessert). Then you must select two dishes on the menu to serve in each course, it is recommended to choose one meat dish and one veggie dish to cater to guests’ dietary requirements.

The diamond package had a few more items included such as a red carpet entrance & our LED dance floor. This package also includes a simple reception buffet for a lavish wedding. 

Wedding Brunel Suite – All packs in the Brunel Suite are based on 40-day guests & 80 evening guests, this option includes a complimentary Civil Ceremony which can take place in our elegant Old Ticketing Hall (OTH), the civil ceremony in the OTH is only available to be held on Monday – Thursday, you can choose between time slots from 9am – 3pm. This option includes a complimentary Civil Ceremony which can take place in our elegant Old Ticketing Hall, your entrance. For the Civil & Reception in the Grand Hall weekend rates are available. The Bride & Groom suites is available for use choosing the civil & reception option. Our Diamond package, for civil & reception, has a few more add ons such as the 3 course meal, drinks reception, LED dancefloor & more.

Wedding Brunel Suite – All packs in the Brunel Suite are based on 40-day guests & 80 evening guests, this option includes a complimentary Civil Ceremony which can take place in our elegant Old Ticketing Hall (OTH), the civil ceremony in the OTH is only available to be held on Monday – Thursday, you can choose between time slots from 9am – 3pm. A 3 course sit-down meal & premium buffet is included. Our platinum package has many upgrades this includes the premium evening buffet, upgraded centrepieces and a drinks package (drinks reception, drink with meal & drink for the toast).

Evening Reception – All pack are based on 150 guests to increase numbers there is an additional charge per person & the room hire’s from 6pm till midnight. The Platinum package has many upgrades/ additional items included in the price such as the premium buffet & wine or beer on tables. 

Wedding Grand Hall – All packs are based on 80-day guests & 150 evening guests to increase numbers there is an additional charge per person. This option includes a complimentary Civil Ceremony which can take place in our elegant Old Ticketing Hall, your entrance. For the Civil & Reception weekend rates are available, and the Bride & Groom suites are available for use choosing this option. The Platinum package has upgraded centre pieces included in the price, premium buffet, Drinks package and more. 

  • Premium Buffet – This section is available it the platinum package, you can also upgrade to this on any package at an additional cost. The menu to select from is the Five Item Buffet, you have 10 items to select from this section.

  • Yes we do, most commonly our civil ceremonies are held within the Old Ticketing Hall and have featured for hundreds of weddings at the Grand Station. The chandelier and grand entrance into the building is excellent for photos and adds to the incentive for a wonderful day.

  • Our famous Grand Hall measures at 64m x 11m whereas our smaller Brunel Suite is sized at 17m x 10m.

  • We have 82 FREE car parking spaces on our site. These are free if you have booked an event with us which includes personal access to our secure parking space. These spaces are also available to the public on a daily basis with easy accessibility into Wolverhampton City Centre for a fee.

  • The venue’s official licence deems that 12am is the official closing time at Grand Station. This when guests are required to leave the premises. However, you can apply for an extension via Wolverhampton Council.
