Our African wedding venue in Wolverhampton, Grand Station, has 2 beautiful halls to hire for your wedding day, our Brunel for smaller parties and our Grand Hall for the larger numbers. Both halls have its own entrance, bar, kitchen & bathroom facilities.
The packages in the African Wedding brochure are based on holding a reception, you can add the civil ceremony on at an additional cost (available near the front of the brochure). Read more..
The packages in this brochure are also based on how long you hire our room(s) for, 6-hour hire/ 10-hour hire. The 6-hour hire is recommended if you’re only having your wedding reception, the 10-hour hire is more suitable for those who are having a civil & reception.
In terms of catering at our African wedding venue in Wolverhampton, we have in house catering that have a selection of Ghanaian, Zimbabwe & Nigerian food. You also have the option of going self-catered if you wish to use a certain caterer. There are 4 packages to choose from that can suit all needs, the higher the package number the more add ons are included in the price.
Prices for the room hire vary depending on the day of the week and the month you wish to have your event. Room hire prices will be located near the front of the brochure. Choosing the package and time slot there is a price per head table at the bottom of the page that varies depending on your guests amount – the ranges go up in hundreds but if you have 250 guest you will be charged the nearest 100 rate which is 200 guests.

We are located just a couple of minutes away from the Wolverhampton City Centre via foot where many taxi ranks are based within the area. Wolverhampton Train Station is just a two minute walk away from the venue as is the city’s bus station where that is located just five minutes away.

Of course, these cost £25 per divider and have proven to be useful for past events at Grand Station.
The venue’s official licence deems that 12am is the official closing time at Grand Station. This when guests are required to leave the premises. However, you can apply for an extension via Wolverhampton Council.
No, we are a wedding and events venue to hire out our magnificent space. However, we are within perfect range of several hotel’s including the Premier Inn Wolverhampton City centre who are based next door to Grand Station. We are also considerably close to the Novotel, Premier Lodge and the Britannia Hotel.
