Grand Station has 2 beautiful halls to hire for your wedding day, our Brunel for smaller parties and our Grand Hall for the larger numbers. Both halls have its own entrance, bar, kitchen & bathroom facilities. The self-catered wedding package is based on how long you hire our room(s) for, 6-hour hire/ 10-hour hire. The 6-hour hire is recommended if you’re only having your wedding reception, the 10-hour hire is more suitable for those who are having a civil & reception. Before booking your preferred caterers, they must have full public liability insurance and hold a valid food hygiene level 3 certificate. Read more..
There are 4 packages to choose from that can suit all needs, the higher the package number the more add ons are included in the price. To have a civil ceremony, held in our old ticketing hall, there is an additional cost on top of the room hire and package you select. Prices for the room hire vary depending on the day of the week and the month you wish to have your event. Room hire prices will be located near the back of the brochure.
Choosing the package and time slot there is a price per head table at the bottom of the page that varies depending on you guest amount – the ranges go up in hundreds but if you have 250 guest you will be charged the nearest 100 rate which is 200 guests.

The venue’s official licence deems that 12am is the official closing time at Grand Station. This when guests are required to leave the premises. However, you can apply for an extension via Wolverhampton Council.
Yes, but there is extra charge for the kitchen, cutlery and plates. We have our own in-house suppliers who cater for all traditions and needs.
Our famous Grand Hall measures at 64m x 11m whereas our smaller Brunel Suite is sized at 17m x 10m.
Yes we do, most commonly our civil ceremonies are held within the Old Ticketing Hall and have featured for hundreds of weddings at the Grand Station. The chandelier and grand entrance into the building is excellent for photos and adds to the incentive for a wonderful day.

We are located just a couple of minutes away from the Wolverhampton City Centre via foot where many taxi ranks are based within the area. Wolverhampton Train Station is just a two minute walk away from the venue as is the city’s bus station where that is located just five minutes away.
